Remembering Kristin

Kristin Renee Cantrell Hill was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor just after her 43rd birthday. She passed away just 17 days after her diagnosis.

Kristin was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. A resident of Fairfield, Ohio, Kristin received her BSN from Ohio University and was a substance use treatment nurse at hospitals in the Greater Cincinnati region.

About glioblastoma

Glioblastoma refers to a cancerous brain tumor and is the most aggressive form of brain cancer. The exact cause of glioblastoma is unknown. There is no cure and treatment can be extremely difficult. The typical duration of survival duration after diagnosis in around one year, with only 5% of patients surviving more than five years.
